Check out the colourful gingerbread cottages, ride the Flying Horses Carousel (the oldest operating merry-go-round in the United States), soak up the view from the top of the Gay Head Cliffs, tour the winery at Chicama Vineyards, browse the shops and even pick raspberries. From Boston, it’s a drive south of about 85 miles to Woods Hole and then a 45-minute ride on a ferry.
