Detailed Review
Estancia La Corona, in the Province of Buenos Aires and four hours south west of the capital, is a family Estancia still run as a fully working farm by Alastair Henderson. He and his sister, Serena Fraser, wish to make available to others this unique place of peace and tranquility. It is to this end that the sanctuary has been devised and it is their hope that the guests who stay there between November and March will leave feeling renewed, inspired and uplifted.
There are four bedrooms available for the guests in this family house. Not all rooms are ensuite. Close by in the Pool House are two light airy ensuite bedrooms. These stand separate one from the other joined by a brick walkway. Both have French windows leading out into the park. These rooms are ideal for those seeking more privacy.
Main House: The suite can be accessed from the side verandah or through the house. Its bathroom is cool and light. The double bedroom with its three windows looks onto the park and its sitting room next door has a sofa you can sink into. This room can also take 1-2 extra beds for children.
One large double room with a gleaming Victorian brass bed, which looks onto the front veranda and leads into a gloriously light twin room which looks over the park. Combined they make the perfect Family Room.
Either room can be booked separately.
The patio twin room:
This room has two single brass beds and has a view over a pretty patio with a well in the centre.
The whole house has a timelessness and luxurious charm to it.
