"A Flagship property for the Intercontinental group and one of Hong Kong's three Feng Shui hotels"
Glass fronted and built on stilts on the Kowloon waterfront, The Intercontinental embraces Chinese custom, architected to invite the water dragon to leave his auspicious mark as he passes to drink and bathe in the harbour.
Intercontinental Hong Kong

Kowloon is the mythical home of nine dragons which according to Feng Shui rules make for an auspicious site. Having won numerous accolades for its charms, the dragons may very well be channeling the important qi energy through the hotel. During a recent renovation the Chinese art was adopted throughout the hotel, in the I-Spa, the hotel lobby and reception and in the bar with nine dragon cocktails. The feng shui elements contribute to a hotel that is relaxing and comfortable even though it is a hub of Hong Kong social activity. Trends continue with the addition of Michelin Star Celebrity Chef partner Alain Ducasse, who has joint ventured with a restaurant of international appeal - Spoon, opened in September. With floor to Ceiling glass it offers one of the best restaurant views over the busy buzz of Victoria Harbour. There are no sky-high vistas but you can see the faces of the people in passing boats and the food is up there with the best Hong Kong has to offer. Upstairs the views continue to surprise. A trio of temperature adjusted infinity spas drop off into the harbour and the rooms with mirrored walls reflect the views from the passing sea traffic. The rooms are comfortable, plush and light with freshness attributable to the natural light. Working in a deluxe room with the inspiring view is hard to beat in business hotel room stakes. Free internet, cocktails, high tea and breakfast are all additions which make the Club supplement hard to beat. The two hours of free flowing Dom Perignon each evening ensure that, and add value to a contemporary and luxurious hotel.

The restaurants were excellent too (asmy boyfriend had a lucky day at the race course we were able to try them all). The staff was also extremely polite andefficient. I love the way the hotel leads to the shoppingMall and the proximity of the Ferry. I had a massage theretoo. I wasn't really impressed by the spa (treatmentsrooms) but the hotel is not one of the newest so that should explain.
I would however definitively comeagain.
TheBar. Lobby makes you feel like lost in an airport butthat gives you ultimate tranquillity. We tried the PeninsulaBar. but I am definitively not a fan of PStark.
I have recommended the Intercontinentaland Travel Intelligence to friends. Your website has the right info and some goodphotos. great staff too so thank you verymuch..
