Andre Breton, the founder of the surrealism movement, lived here when he wrote ‘Les Champs Magnétiques\', and a plaque on the wall commemorates this. Renovated in 2002, the décor is warm and welcoming with rich colours and luxurious furnishings. The 31 individual air-conditioned rooms are tastefully furnished with modern fully-tiled bathrooms. Most rooms have excellent views and those on the top floor have balconies with amazing views across the city.
