Louis XV classic
For those visiting Paris for its exclusive shopping and fashion boutiques, a hotel on the Rue du Faubourg St Honoré is a must. This elegant luxury hotel is situated on the Right Bank, just steps from the Champs-Elysées, the Palais Elysée and the Place de la Concorde.
Set in a magnificent palace, the Hotel le Bristol is a member of the Grand Hotels of the World. This impressive residence was built on the Rue Faubourg in 1925 and during the war was the favoured hotel of the Americans. It’s one of the grandest luxury hotels in Paris today and offers 127 rooms and 46 suites all furnished in sumptuous splendour. It offers a choice of three Presidential Suites with the finest furnishings and opulent décor.
The public lounges would grace any royal palace with their glittering chandeliers, marble floors and elegant mirrors. The indoor pool is a wonderful place to exercise, with its floor-to-ceiling windows and magnificent wall mural depicting the deck of a ship. The gym is equally well-equipped for that morning fitness routine.
This luxury hotel is perfectly located for business meetings and it offers a choice of five meeting rooms for up to 200 people. It is also the hotel of choice for many grand functions and banquets, and has its own Anne Semonin Beauty Salon.
Food and drink is equally well catered for, with a sumptuous cocktail bar where the mixologists create wonderful aperitifs. The Winter Gourmet restaurant and complimenting Summer Gourmet restaurant are the ultimate places to dine. Fashion parades and high teas take place here, and the Restaurant Manager, Raphael Courant, welcomes guests daily to this gourmet two-Michelin-star restaurant. The Winter Restaurant is open from October to April and is decorated in a Regency style with heavy drapes and oak woodwork. In May, guests are accommodated in the light, bright Summer restaurant with its courtyard garden of wisteria and magnolia.
With sterling service to match the opulent surroundings of this luxury hotel, no wonder it has received countless accolades and awards including ‘Europe’s Best Hotel’, the ‘World’s Best Luxury Romantic Hotel and ‘Europe’s Best Hotel Restaurant.’ It simply does not get better than at the Hotel le Bristol.
