Hotel Overview

The Villa Mauresque is a small boutique hotel located on the sea front of the French Riviera, between Cannes and Saint Tropez. It was built in 1860 by Chapoulard, the architect renowned for his Moorish villas on the Côte d'Azur. The boutique hotel's two magnificent villas, Les Jardins and Le Palais are situated in a beautifully manicured, acre-long garden.

The facilities

With its private port and boat house lapped by the waves of the Mediterranean, the Villa Mauresque is ideally situated for sailing, water-skiing, scuba-diving, canoeing and kayaking. As an unconventional, family-run boutique hotel, the Villa Mauresque does not provide an evening meal or televisions in every room; however, it makes up for this with its peaceful location and the personalised service of its staff members.

A luxury buffet breakfast is available every morning, as is a quick swim in the warm sea just steps from the boutique hotel. There are sandy beaches just fifty metres from the villa. There is no restaurant, but room service is available. Many guests only venture from the calm enclave of the hotel to take an evening meal at one of the many nearby restaurants. This small boutique hotel also has a heated swimming pool and sauna.

The rooms

All ten rooms at the boutique hotel are air-conditioned, and each bathroom has a shower and/or a jacuzzi. Every room has a splendid view, either of the sea or the manicured gardens.
