Hotel Grande Bretagne has been recognized as the "Royal Box" of Athens for nearly 130 years. The facilities
Chef Bertand Valegeas at the luxury hotel's GB Corner restaurant knows how to both satisfy and impress guests with an indulgent menu of local delicacies and French favourites at the French-Mediterranean restaurant. The renowned family-style landmark restaurant features 1900's Art Deco decor and often hosts Athen's most prominent residents. The award-winning Chef Valegeas recommends guests try the sushi-grande tuna in soy and saki marinade, the signature grilled T-bone steak and end the meal with a true treat- the luxury hotel's signature chocolate soup dessert.

The spa also features an indoof swimming pool, traditional sauna, amethyst grotto, thermal suite with herbal bath, ice fountain and a romantic couple's suite.
The rooms
Each of the 321 guest rooms at the luxury hotel offers enchanting views of the hotel courtyard or a spellbinding panorama of the city's timeless landmarks. Interiors pay homage to the celebrated Greek culture with intricate mouldings and classic decor. Rooms range from the elegant Classic Rooms, complete with marble bathrooms and cosy bathrobes and slippers, to the sumptuous Royal Suite. The lavish suite boasts a fully equipped gym, working antique piano and a dining room for 16. Guests in the luxurious suite also enjoy 24-hour Butler service.
