back to all luxury hotels in Santorini
Carpe Diem is a gorgeous boutique hotel on the Greek island of Santorini. Located on the slopes of a hill overlooking the village of Pygoras, guests enjoy rooftop views of the village’s medieval castle and its blue-domed, byzantine churches. The interiors of the boutique hotel itself are all white, contemporary and clean-lined, and offer the best in modern luxury and service.
The facilities
Carpe Diem’s centrepiece is its infinity pool. A sun terrace and pool bar are adjacent. There’s also a mini spa, where couples can go to have his’n’hers massages and treatments, as well as relax in the Jacuzzi, the Turkish baths or under jet showers.
Guests can order food or pick up cocktails at the boutique hotel’s Lounge & Bar. The kitchen serves delicious Mediterranean and Greek dishes, which can be eaten anywhere you choose – by the pool, at the bar or in your own suite’s dining area. Breakfast is brought to guests’ suites every morning.
The rooms
Carpe Diem has ten luxurious suites, all generously sized and decorated in crisp shades of white and cream. Furniture is contemporary and minimalist. All suites have their own private plunge pool, and guests enjoy taking meals and relaxing on their verandas. So far, so heavenly, but the boutique hotel also provides more down-to-earth goodies: rooms come with satellite TV, internet access and are all air conditioned.
