Beneath a lotus pool floating above treetops and Bali’s sacred Ayung River, discover a few dozen enormous suites and private villas
The facilities
In the spa, tensions dissolve under the influence of exotic scents, the traditional treatments of the East and the calming beauty of the Ayung River valley. Immersing you in the spirit of this sacred place, Sayan’s rejuvenating secrets celebrate the healing power of nature: earthen clays, mountain botanicals and warming spices. All in an environment of simple sophistication, complete with hot and cold plunge pools and every comfort and luxury.
The rooms
The luxury resort’s 18 suites and 42 villas offer the ultimate in privacy and comfort â a tropical haven set in the lush Ayung River valley. Guest accommodations reflect the exotic surroundings, featuring Indonesian furnishings and local handmade fabrics.
The three spa villas reflect the elegant Balinese architecture of the Resort. Natural materials combine with native designs in such blissful elements as teak wood cabinets and flooring, hand-blown glass wash basins, hand-loomed Sulawesi silk furniture coverings, customised terrazzo massage tables and thatched roofs.
Each of the spa villas accommodates tandem treatments for couples. For convenience, they are connected to outdoor bathing pavilions offering steam showers, while large soaking tubs with adjacent open-air showers discreetly overlook private garden courtyards. The close proximity of the fast-flowing Ayung River provides a soothing natural accompaniment to the treatments provided by the Resort’s highly trained therapists.
