An architectural masterpiece of towers, turrets, and stonework ornamentation, Adare Manor Hotel & Golf Club is the gateway to Ireland 's great southwest. The former family seat of the Earls of Dunraven, this luxury hotel dates back to the 18th-century, and stands along the meandering River Maigue amid 840 acres of formal gardens and lush parklands.
The facilities
For those in the know, this luxury hotel is pretty unbeatable when it comes to golf. Opened in 1995, Adare Manor's golf club is designed by Robert Trent Jones, Sr. It is a course measuring 7,138 yds of championship tees.

"Hollywood Gothic castle hotel in impressive grounds, with golf"
A large American following; this castle hotel has a feel of authenticity, with its 50+ chimneys, gothic arches, minstrels gallery and massive fireplaces. Rooms are less exciting. Fine dining, golf and a spa complete the impressive package.

Limerick golfer’s paradise with ample off-course diversions. Come for the golf by all means, but the recent opening of spa facilities and the understated old school charms of the Manor House, with its king-size rooms and Gallic-accented restaurant offers plenty of distractions away from the fairways, all watched over by a cheerful front-of-house team.
