Detailed Review
Casabartolini is a unique place for those who wish to visit Tuscany and enjoy its art, authentic hospitality and genuine food.
Arriving at casabartolini you are welcomed by olive trees, aromatic herbs and inspiring glass and steel sculptures by Dario. Each morning, the 'buongiorno' is presented on a table, offering the very best local products from the area, as well as a capacious view of the Tuscan landscape.
If you are interested in exploring the territory, Lucia will help with suggestions and her profound knowledge of Florence, Chianti, and the entire region. Nor is there a lack of peaceful paths for quiet walks.
Florence is a few minutes away and the other 'art' cities, are within an hour from the house by car.
A pause for a sunset aperitif, with a glass of good wine and choice morsels, can assist the planning of the evening meal out, or of new itineraries for the following day. If you travel with a small group of friends you can also book a 'chef's seasonal Tuscan dinner', prepared and narrated by Lucia.
Press Quotes
"Attractive accommodation in Florence doesn't usually come cheap, so Casabartolini, just a few minutes outside the city, is a real find. Artist owners Dario and Lucia have turned their stylish modern 1970s home into a three-bedroom B&B. Surrounded by olive groves and vineyards, its bright and breezy rooms and laid back atmosphere offer respite from a day's sightseeing. An old Parisian telescope allows for some star-gazing at night. Lucia is also an "incredible cook" according to Ruth Rogers of the River Cafe, one of the first to stay there." Guardian 04
