Park Hyatt Milan is an elegant boutique hotel, ideally located right in the heart of Milan, just steps away from Piazza del Duomo and Teatro alla Scala opera house. The hotel borders Milan's famous Galleria, and is within walking distance of the ultra-chic shops in Via Montenapoleone and Via della Spiga. Park Hyatt Milan is also close to Milan's Stock Exchange and the financial district. Park Hyatt Milan is set in a palatial, classical building that dates from 1870. The hotel's interior architecture and design is by Ed Tuttle, well known for his work at the recently opened Park Hyatt Paris-Vendôme. Tuttle's vision was to create a feeling of tranquillity, luxury and dignity throughout the hotel. To do so, he kept the hotel's ceilings high and spaces large, supporting the sense of abundant reach with clean, sharp lines. His muted colour palette, use of luxury fabrics and generous use of travertine stone, all contribute to the sense of timeless, gracious simplicity throughout Park Hyatt Milan.

With a dreamy setting next to the Galleria, the Park Hyatt hotel is just a short walk from the Duomo, La Scala, Brera and the city’s financial district. This is an ideal venue for chic business meetings – the palatial building dates from 1870 and the interiors, designed by Ed Tuttle of Amanresorts fame, are full of pale tones and natural sandstone. Though the ambiance of the hotel is calm and unobtrusive, the styling is the height of elegance. The bar and breakfast lounge sits beneath an enormous glass dome, nine meters high and reminiscent of St Peter’s in Rome. Décor in the rooms is tastefully understated, with muted colours and subtle lighting, and each room has a Bang & Olufsen television and wi-fi. Many guests are lured here by the cavernous bathrooms, said to be the most spacious in Milan – each mirrors the size of the bedroom, be it a standard or a suite. Amenities match the luxurious styling, with an extensive fitness centre and numerous spa services, open to both guests and visitors by appointment.
