Town House was created from an ideal of home away from home, where the concept of the traditional hotel is lost and each guest is free to express and request until all their needs are met.
The philosophy of well-being is carried out throughout the hotels, where the colours that prevail reflect a state of peace. A sense of travel through eras of ethnic, fashion, design; created by the objects that form a part of the house, a trip that can take you to far away places and demonstrate a variety of colour and combinations.
The main purpose is to create a meeting point of different languages and cultures, where communication at this day and age is fundamental. Our meeting point is represented by a long table where guests can enjoy the atmosphere.
The idea of being spoilt, is inborn in all of us. The "Butler" service provided by Town House gives your guests the opportunity to have their suits, ironed and placed in their cupboard ready to be worn on a special occasion.

By The TI Review TeamDesigned by Architectural Digest editor Ettore Mocchetti, Town House 31 is a nurturing home from home for visitors to Milan, where every whim and need is catered to. This isn't your typical Milanese hotel – enter through the leafy passageway and you'll stumble into the beautifully designed Garden 31 Winebar, with its tropical courtyard, low tables, cushions and tented pavilion. The Town House deliberately mixes styles and cultures – the outside area feels vaguely Argentinean, whilst breakfast is served at a long communal table beneath latticed Moroccan windows. The multicultural attitude extends to the 20 rooms, which are full of natural wood tones and Asian and African details. The hotel is close to many notable fashion houses, including Prada, Etro and Calvin Klein, and the combination of comfort and design makes it a favourite during fashion and design weeks. Town House has recently opened a sister hotel in Milan, Town House 12, the only hotel in Italy with an Absolut Icebar (constructed entirely from ice). Plans are afoot to open a new Town House in Turin in time for the 2006 Winter Olympics and a fourth Town House, with 24 suites, is set to open in 2006 in Milan's Galleria.

Milan's cool new little haven of serenity, the perfect alternative to the capital-of-style's overpriced palaces and banal corporate hotels. In a residential neighborhood, away from the city center, a pebbled courtyard leads you into a calming interior space, which has the feel of the private home of your favorite Zen-master. The 18 rooms are done up in soothing colors, mutli-culti bric-a-brac, and feature genuine marble bathrooms. A communal breakfast table affords you the opportunity to share your deepest feelings with your fellow guests. Indeed, it’s enough to calm the savage fashion editor.
