Detailed Review
L'Andana, former residence of Leopold II, Duke of Tuscany, has become a refined luxury hotel, spread out at the foot of hills bearing centuries-old olive groves and vineyards. Even though L'Andana proposes grand hotel equipment and services to its guests, it is a very comfortable hotel with the spirit and atmosphere of a country house.
High-end service, refined decoration, tranquility: L'Andana is the ideal place for ultimate relaxation. The luxury hotel perfectly illustrates elegant "art de vivre" in Tuscany. Located on the 500-hectare estate of Tenuta La Badiola, among which 30 hectares of vineyards and 50 hectares of olive trees.
The facilities
The spa in this luxury hotel is magnificent. Boasting four treatment rooms, two of which are suites, guests have a number of options for relaxation. However, one does not need to visit the spa to relax. Guests are surrounded by beautiful gardens and a neoclassic chapel to visit and escape time. An outdoor heated pool as well as a rustic library ensures there is something here for everyone. Dinning is an experience in its own at this luxury hotel. Wine and olive oil are produced on-site and may be appreciated by clients at the restaurant. Guests can also enjoy traditional Tuscan cuisine, based on regional products as well as excellent sea food, perfectly prepared by Alain Ducasse with simplicity and authenticity.
The rooms
The luxury hotel offers 33 bedrooms and suites to choose from. Each decorated with the finest fabric for a truly Tuscan experience. Junior suites are best for couples, as they come with a romantically set fireplace, private bathroom and separate living quarters. No matter which room guests choose, each offers up the best of what the luxury hotel has to offer.
Press Quotes
"L'Andana is a villa and a fattoria restored in white distressed chic; there are fireplaces in the bathrooms. There's a spa, and the cabanas by the pool are positively Hollywood." Tatler 05
