Client Review

"This was actually the 2nd time we stayed at Hotel Flora and enjoyed it so much we wanted to stay there again.Very highlyrecommended. it is verycharming. oldfashioned. great location near St.Mark'sSq.. and a great little courtyard to sit in to havebreakfast or an afternoon drink.""".

"We stayed in the Hotel Flora in Venice last May for 5 nights. The position of the hotel wasgreat. the staff were friendly andhelpful. The breakfast wasgood. We had a downstairs garden room which was a mixedblessing; when people were out in the garden. they could be very noisy which was a bit of anuisance. The other problem was that there was only atelephone-type hand held shower; we thought that there should have been a fixed one. When we got home we looked at the hotel'sbrochure and there was a wonderful photo of the view from a room in the hotel over the lagoon; we would have loved to have seen that view! On the whole. we liked the hotel verymuch.""".

The hotel was pretty much what I was looking for - a charming.characterful hotel centrally located inVenice. The courtyard/garden was a real treat - breakfastin the morning there was a great way to start the day and sitting there for a short break in the afternoon was also a calming experience after the hustle & bustle of tourists in Venice. Staff were friendly & efficient (certainly byItalian standards!). Being right next to St Mark's is fabulous as wellOf course these benefits do come at some sort of price - its not cheap to stay anywhere in venice is it?. The room & bathroom are pretty basic and having aroom with a garden view sounds great but actually means breakfast in the morning wakes you up & how much time do you really want to spend in your room looking at the garden? I'm not sure that I would do that again. I would recommend the hotel though for anyonewanting to go to Venice for a romantic weekend where you want a simple. fun weekend with character but without thesterile efficiency of chains. "",,,,2004-05-19 ,,Christy Gustin,Welcoming andattentive owners; hotel is a dream,Thanks to the reviewer's comments. we booked the lovely room shown to theright. It overlooked thegarden. The owners were very gracious and even encouragedme to use my much studied. but very poor Italian language skills withthem. I went with my husband for a respite from fourchildren and the hotel is small. but veryromantic. The breakfast was the most perfect I've ever hadand it was a beautiful experience. Exactly what I was lookingfor. There were towel warmers in thebathroom. which was a nicetouch. We will certainly be back; what good value aswell.,5,5,5,2005-03-13 ,,J K SIDDALL,Travel Intelligence very helpful,Lovely hotel. our room was a bit cramped but we were warnedabout this. Travel Intelligence very helpful and tried toupgrade us. Would definitely use the site again and woulddefoinitely visit Venice and this hotel again. Staff were veryapproachable.,4,5,5,2006-03-03 ,,Steve Peake,Looked great,We did stop by the Hotel Flora to check it out and it looked very appealing with a beautiful courtyard and we would probably stay here next time instead of DD 724.,,,,2006-06-07 1315,Hotel Gellert,,,,,,, ,,David Johnston,One of the best travel experiences...,Having travelled to six continents and throughout Europe I would have to rank Budapest as one of the best travel experiences that my wife and I have had. We stayed in the hotel for three nights -Overall. the Hotel Gellert has a lot of character andhistory and all of the areas that we saw. including ourroom. were very clean andnice. Make sure to request a river viewroom. It is not the most modernhotel. and if this is what you are looking for you needto stay in a big name hotel chain where the staff treat you as a stranger off the street vs. as a member of the family as is the case at theHotel Gellert. Inaddition. all members of the front deskstaff. doormen and concierges speak perfectEnglish. Highly recommended to experience a true Europeanhotel.,4,5,5,2004-11-13 1515,Hotel Gloria,,,,,,, ,,wolvesblue2,not that great,We had a deluxe room. The room itself wasnice. if a little dated (bathroom inparticular). The public areas were a letdown. None of the early 20th century style that thefacade would suggest. If you like 1980's plastic table cloths andunpainted aluminium widow frames you'll love this place. The real drama came at checkout. they had charged an extra night and refused toclimb down even though it was the check in staff's error. Ended up agreeing to pay half as we were indanger of missing our flight. Overall not a positiveexperience. previously stayed at the MarinaPalace. better value and none of theproblems. ps. Haven't seen 1 positive review for the HotelGloris. on negative.,3,1,3,2005-08-16 1438,Hotel GranVia,,,,,,, ,,Melanie Eddis,It is a very nice. friendly hotel,The Gran Via was billed as havinga great old atmosphere etc. It is a verynice. friendly hotel with a wonderfully ornatelounge. However our first night we had a room thatoverlooked the road which was really too loud in respect to traffic noise (even with windows shut) as. being by the trafficlights. there is a lot of acceleratingtraffic. We moved to a rear facing room that made a hugedifference and we were very happy there. I think they have spoiled the place a bit byfitting replacement laminate flooring throughout the bedrooms. corridors and diningroom. Perhaps a touch of modernisation that didn'treally seem to have worked. Still. very central and easy to get to and from theairport by train (no changes needed). Breakfast wasgood. with lots ofchoice. and there are couple of very nice cafes close byif you want to go local instead.,,,,2005-05-26 4587,Hotel Jazz,,,,,,, ,,Jeremy Leslie,Looked after us and the children well,Hotel Jazz was perfect. looked after the four ofus. including twochildren. very well.,4,3,5,2006-04-27 ,,Fahmy,First staypleasant. second a little disappointing,I already knew thehotel from a first very pleasant stay. UnfortunatelyUnfortunately. on my secondstay. I was close to theelevators. which wasnoisy. and the rooms was smaller than on my previousvisit.,3,4,4,2006-04-28 ,,kevin copley,Very impressed,Very impressed! Good rooms; great pool to cool off in and good location. Would recommend it.,4,3,4,2006-08-12 1697,HotelKaiserin Elisabeth,,,,,,, ,,Robert Pierce,,I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone wanting service and convenience! Excellent food & wines at reasonableprices. We will definitely be recommending La Casa Viejato friends. Our dog loved ittoo!,5,5,4,2006-03-25 2506,Hotel la Tremoille,,,,,,, ,,Heather Jacobs,Excellent stay,Thoroughly enjoyed out stay here; charming staff and good thoughtful details. ThanksThanks. TravelIntelligence. for organising.,5,5,5,2006-07-21 1444,Hotel LeA,,,,,,, ,,Simon Cook,Excellent hotel,Service from your end was easy to use and efficient and hotel was excellent. ComfortableComfortable. discreet andintimate. friendly but not over-fussy and FANTASTIC valuefor money at the rate I paid. Would struggle to behappier.,5,5,4,2006-02-16 ,,Kate Bowden Smith,Can thoroughly recommend it,After I booked the hotel I found some reviews that were rather negative so was a little apprehensive about our trip. HoweverHowever. I'm really pleased to say that we had the mostfantastic time. The hotel was minimalist andcalm. the staff was incrediblyfriendly. provided some great recommendations forrestaurants - and even managed to get us the best table in one with the most fantastic view over Ponte Neuf. The room was lovely if a little small - niceand quiet (although I did request one at the back to make sure). Location was brilliant as close to themetro. So overall we had a fantastic time and wouldthoroughly recommend Hotel Le A.,4,5,4,2006-05-04 401,Hotel Le Cep,,,,,,, ,,David Coup,Le Cep,The Hotel Le Cep was a great hotel in a wonderful small town. We were upgraded to a huge suite with multiplebathrooms. The restaurant Morrillon adjacent to the hotelis excellent.,,,,2004-10-04 ,,Mixie Hockman, lovely and quite comfortable,Your agent Chloe did a wonderful job communicating with me. She set us up for a dinner reservation at a 3star in Salieu and booked us at the nearest hotel with space available that was still a lovely hotel. It was Le Cep inBeaune. The hotel was lovely and our room was quitelarge and very comfortable. The market was going on in the square so we hadfun just strolling leisurely.,,,,2005-04-06 ,,Marilyn Rogers,Wonderful hotel!,We stayed in the Hotel Le Cep in Beaune and it was wonderful - very traditional French room with a terrace/balcony overlooking the central courtyard - lovely setting for a private breakfast. The whole hotel is an interesting building with atower to explore! It is also situated very centrally in the town. The restaurant was also very good The processof booking was efficiently handled and the person I dealt with was knowledgeable about the hotel and able to recommend the sort of room we should book. We would return and would use TravelIntelligence again for other locations.,,,,2005-04-15 1678,Hotel Le Pigonnet,,,,,,, ,,David Coup,Le Pigonnet,The Hotel Le Pigonnet was excellent; it is situated on a huge piece of land with beautiful gardens. The only negative is that it is about a fifteenminute walk to the center of the old town.,,,,2004-10-04 1285,Hotel Majestic Barcelona,,,,,,, ,,Karen Dautheribes, super, just passed a long weekend in Barcelona at the Majestic Hotel. nothing to complainabout. everybody was so nice andfriendly. great atmosphere allround. thankyou...... Karen Dautheribes,5,5,5,2005-03-24 2412,HotelMaricel,,,,,,, ,,jb,Stylish. romantic and perfect getaway...,Can say nothingother than I highly recommend this hotel. I just spent the most fabulous 4 nights there andmy only complaint was that one of the remote controls didn't work on one of the tv's in my room... Service wasfantastic. food wasdelicious. place was so romantic it seemedsurreal.... there are no kids (cause they may fall off theinfinity pool into the sea)... just such a greathotel.,5,5,5,2004-09-16 4857,Hotel Neptuno,,,,,,, ,,Anthony Swift,Pretty good. excellent location,We really enjoyed our visit toValencia and I thought the Neptuno was a great place to stay for a visit to the city ? the new tram line goes from a few hundred yards away right to the centre and a taxi is only about Euro10. so you can stay right on the beach and yet visitthe centre as well. The hotel itself was pretty good; the bedroomand bathroom were a bit cramped. maybemaybe. but free broadband in the room isgreat. The gym wasOK. nice to have but if you want someexercise. the path along the beach is straight and flat formiles. There is a sun deck on the roof which is a goodsuntrap for those who want. We had a very good meal indeed in therestaurant one night ? Euro40 per head for several courses of ?menu de degustation? and the food was outstanding. And the hotel is right by a row of very livelybeachside bars and restaurants. so you are spoiled for choice in that respectreally. And Robert Pires was staying the hotel whilewe were there. tootoo. so we really felt we were rubbing shoulders withthe famous! The Neptuno will be a great venue for the Americas Cup next year. as it is right by theboatyards.,3,3,5,2006-07-18 3422,Hotel Omm,,,,,,, ,,Amanda V,Omm Omm ahhhh,Spent an excellent weekend just gone at Omm...the room. poolpool. bar & club all veryenjoyable. Staff organised all our outings &reservations. suggestions were online....locationgreat. all in all worth another weekendvisit. hopefully verysoon.......,5,4,3,2005-07-28 ,,Caroline Neall,Not wearing too well for its age,Just for your feedback: this particularly trendy hotel is wearing quite badly considering it's only two years old. AlsoAlso. the business centre is non-existent - a laptopwith no printer. fax orcopier. HoweverHowever. it is a nice people watching place - and in agreat location.,,,,2005-11-21 ,,rob arneau,Omm - a cut above!,You will not be disappointed if you stay here. Our hotel rooms was excellent and the roof poolwas classy. The staff were polite and efficient - perhaps abit too interested in themselves but that's just barca for you! Cocktail bar and club underneath if you fancy it. l'd stay there again just for theroom.,5,3,3,2005-07-04 ,,Henrietta O,Loved the Omm,We loved the Hotel Omm in Barcelona. It wasfunky. beautifully designed and arelaxing. unfussy place tobe. The staff on the front desk weren't particularlyhelpful. but otherwise it couldn't have beenbetter.,,,,2005-05-16 ,,Jeremy Leslie,Very good staff,Stayed at the Hotel Omm in Barcelona and found it perfect for my needs. Their staff verygood. as wereyours. Will use Travel Intelligence again forsure.,,,,2005-05-17 ,,Barbara Hay,Thoroughly enjoyed it,Hotel Omm was superbly located and the staff were friendly. obliging and quick to respond to any queries orrequests. We enjoyed the style and ambience of this modernand architecturally unique hotel and the breakfasts and light meals served in the bar were very much to our liking. Although a very trendy hotel frequented by theyoung and fashionable we. as a mature agedcouple. felt very comfortable during our 6-daystay. It was our favourite hotel during our 17 day triparound Spain. Maybe our January stay when the hotel was notoverly busy added to our enjoyment.,5,5,5,2006-04-06 ,,Anne Lang,Chic stay in Barcelona,Rooms with materials like suede. all nice cotton fabrics you can thinkof. Great bathrooms with dressing roomquality. Colours ofbeige. caffelatte. espresso and differentwhites. Staff eager to be at service and a 5 star ratedrestaurant (The Moo). I had a lovely dinner there with my son tocelebrate my 50th birthday. The service was a tiny bit over-attentive but thefood was devine. Highly recommendable place to stay for aweekend's shopping excursions in the fashionable surrondings.,5,5,5,2006-04-22 ,,Naomi Troni,Our room was amazing and very stylish,Hotel Omm was lovely. Very attentive staff who were very helpful withorganising restaurants etc. Our room was amazing and very stylish - I lovedthe en suite bath plus the separate shower room. Fantastic location in the centre of town andeasy to walk everywhere. Loved it and will goagain.,5,4,4,2006-07-11 ,,Marie Haynes,Beautifully designed,Just to say we had a wonderful time in Barcelona. The hotel wasexcellent. and the room was beautifullydesigned. We would happily goagain. The location was fabulous and the service wasexcellent.,4,4,4,2006-07-18 7277,Hotel Prestige Paseo de Gracia,,,,,,, ,,Christina Stampoultzi,,Thank you Travel Intelligence for an excellent suggestion and top service. We will definitely call back and have alreadyrecommended your services.,5,5,5,2006-10-30 ,,Kristin Nugent,,The hotel was clean. centrallylocated. We had a nice view and the accommodations werevery nice. despite the smallbathrooms. The biggest complaint was the concierge service:very generic and didn't seem to have suggestions other than the typical touristy restaurants. barsbars. etc..etc... we tried them on two or three suggestions andwere very unsatisfied with the outcome.,4,5,5,2006-10-30 ,,Celeste Signorino,,Great hotel - wonderful staff. locationlocation. androom. Will definitely stay there again and recommend toothers!,4,5,5,2006-10-30 ,,Christina Stampoultzi,,Travel Intelligence - thank you for the reservation in Prestige Paseo de Gracia. We had a lovely stay in Barca and the hotelwas. to ourstandards. a brilliantchoice. Nicely modern but not ?cold?rooms. I particularly enjoyed the bathroom - in manycity boutique hotels bathrooms tend to be extra small and crampy - which was very spacious with separate shower room and the ?luxury? touch of ETRO toiletaries. Staff was very welcoming and professional and the?Ask me? concierge service is a nice personal additional service even for people that know Barcelona well. Breakfast can beimproved. The other strong point of the hotel is itslocation which is CENTRAL to anything. businessbusiness. sightseeingsightseeing. shoppingshopping. dining? All inall. we will very strongly recommend the hotel anddefinitely return (well. maybe after trying the Neri Hotel first thatunfortunately we have not been able to stay a couple of times that we have asked since it was fully booked). Thanks again to Travel Intelligence and all thebest until the next time!,5,5,5,2006-10-30 ,,David,,Many many thanks. TravelIntelligence. greatweekend. great hotel.,5,4,5,2006-10-30 ,,ChristopherPerry,,The hotel was really great. thoroughly enjoyed it and would recommend toothers. Good location andatmosphere. good service without being toointrusive. The hotel restaurant really had too many localalternatives to be busy but was good for breakfast.,5,4,4,2006-10-30 ,,Declan O'Sullivan,,Really enjoyed it. staff great - very helpful - particularly likedthe ""ask me"" concierge service; I?ll definitely stay there again.".
