The Byblos Art Hotel Villa Amistà offers a unique luxury hotel experience, all set in the countryside 7km from Verona. The large villa, featuring a 15th-century facade by Michele Sanmicheli, had been abandoned for quite some time before its renovation, but the result has been well worth the wait.

The luxury hotel is architecturally spectacular, with its main villa building, two towers, church and farmhouses all benefiting from the refurbishment.

The facilities

Byblos Art Hotel Villa is situated in a magnificent 20,000 square meter park, where guests follow picturesque pathways past century-old trees, ancient sculptures and 16th-century fountains. The garden is filled with the scent of Mediterranian flowers.

Inside, the luxury hotel’s public rooms feature a Venetian chandelier and elabourately painted ceilings and murals, which are all offset by contemporary furniture and pieces of modern art. The effect, rather than jarring, is strangley harmonious and tasteful, and guests often comment on the beautiful surroundings.
