Located at the north end of the historic medina, the UNESCO listed central square of Marrakech called the Jemaa el Fna is easily reached from the P’tit Habibi. This lively area is where most of the street entertainment can be found, from snake charmers to vendors of everything from leather belts to carpets. The nearby souk is a maze of small shops selling djelabas and wonderful souvenirs. The P’tit Habibi makes a great base for exploring this colourful city on foot.

The main common guest space of this boutique hotel is the biblioteque where an amazing chandelier lights up the area. Guests can socialize around the open fireplace on cooler evenings whilst enjoying a glass of local Casablanca beer or champagne. During the day there is always an elegant pot of refreshing mint tea on hand to refresh guests after walking around the souk.
Each of the four rooms of this boutique hotel has its own style and ambience. The Peruche is highlighted with bright pink accents and bird motifs. The black and white Wangarata is an eclectic mix of hand painted furniture, local photographs and American pinball mirrors. The Love Nest is decorated in restful beige and lilac and the the double bed is set in a zellige recess. The White Suite is the largest and includes a private balcony and b’hou seating area. The beautifully furnished rooms all have WiFi internet access, a Bose iPod station, heating and air conditioning.
The stylish high-ceilinged rooms open out onto a private terrace space furnished with rugs and chairs for relaxing in style. After dark the area is lit with Moorish lamps and films are shown for guest’s entertainment in the open air. A traditional breakfast is served at the communal table and lunch and dinner will be prepared upon request. This is an excellent opportunity to try the locally prepared tagines, kofta and couscous.
