My wife and I spent 4 nights at this ryad for our
honeymoon.We were very happy with the way we were greetedwhen we first arrived - friendly service and well laid out interior. Things went downhill from there when on thesecond night. we were left standing outside the front door for30 minutes waiting for someone to let us in and Marrakech being what it is. we were constantly approached to the point wefelt intimidated and hassled. During ourstay. we needed to iron a fews items of clothing andrequested a board and an iron. They offered to iron the few items of clothing wehad and at this point. we were really impressed that we were beingtreated like guests in a Marrakech home. To ourdisappointment. just as we were getting into the taxi for theairport. someone comes over to ask for money for theironing! To top it all. when we got to theairport. the taxi driver asked us for the fare - when Iwas informed by email that room charges included breakfast and transfer to and from the ryad..

It certainly was a new experience for me and very
exotic.The Talaa12 Riad is really beautiful and Iwould highly recommend it. The service and food were excellent and thestaff very friendly. The owner is a very pleasant Belgian womanwhose English is limited - very unfortunate as my French is also limited. The manager spoke good English but I would haveliked to talk to the owner about her experience in starting the riad. The riad was very beautifully decorated and theroof area. where we had breakfast eachmorning. was particularlyspectacular..
