As always I enjoyed my stay at York House.Rooms arecomfortable. the food isexcellent. ambiance ischarming. and then there's that unique courtyard! The staffis helpful. The hotel isn't rightdowntown. but it's convenient to Lisbontransportation. A stroll down the hill takes you to Santos trainstation. where you can get the coastal train out toCascais for day trips. Taken in the oppositedirection. you end up (in one stop) at the Cais doSodre. the hub where the coastal train intersects withthe city's subway system..
