Detailed Review
York House is one of the most charming hotels in Lisbon. The discrete and elegant facade of this 17th century grand house surprises its guests with the matisse blue of the walls which greet you on entering and the stone staircase which takes you up to a terrace surrounded by exuberant greenery.
The interior of this small boutique hotel, once an old Carmelite convent, maintains the elements of 17th century architecture. The rooms are decorated in pure white with contemporary lines.
York House boutique hotel is the right place for a perfect romantic weekend break, offering the right balance between the charming atmosphere and the city attractions. At night the atmosphere intensifies with a unique, candlelit dinner on the terrace with Portuguese cuisine cooked by the chef.
Lisbon also has a fine selection of restaurants and shops and a great choice of history and sights. Certainly you will experience one of the most enjoyable city breaks in Europe.
