Swish, stately affair down on the buzzy Victoria and Alfred Waterfront, with Table Mountain impressively impassive in the background. Most rooms include views of the marina; the interiors the last word in dapper contemporary comfort; charming service. Member of The Leading Hotels of the World. 121rooms. Hotel Attractions: The bright and chic Quay West restaurant and bar boasts an endless list of local wines; Floris in the bathroom; outdoor swimming pool, gym and shark cage diving facilities, should you require them.
Local Attractions: Capetonians flock here in their droves (it can get very busy), although rest assured youre in the swanky bit and just far enough from the madding crowds. Assorted nick-nacks at the Red Shed Craft Workshop and Waterfront Craft Market; Tobagos, overlooking Table Bay, famed for its black crocodile ravioli; Bayfront Blu does a lovely bit of antelope.
