Hotel Catedral is a sleek design hotel located in Barcelona city centre, just 200 metres from the Cathedral and eight blocks from the Picasso Museum. The facilities
Guests can unwind at the design hotel in the gym or infinity-edged pool, enjoy wine tasting, take cookery classes, or sample the restaurant’s Mediterranean food in a pleasant decked area. Hotel Catedral restaurant Capellans serves light and healthy Mediterranean cuisine, but is only open for breakfast and lunch. Food can be taken inside at the dining area near the lobby or outside where the terrace is shaded by tarpaulin and lined with bamboo plants. The terrace view of Hotel Catedral spans across neighbouring rooftops, making a nice backdrop. Next door to the outdoor restaurant seating is a lounge bar.
The rooms
The design hotel has 80 rooms constituting warm, open spaces with a smart use of glass, light oak furnishings and broad mirrors. Spotless white bedding and modern decor are accompanied by quirky light fixtures.
