Set in a grand palacial building, the Hotel Gran has an impressive façade. Time has faded the once glorious interior, with its fine coving and decorative archways. Guest rooms are spacious and bright with full-length windows and the furnishings are plain but comfortable. Most rooms have twin beds rather than doubles, so it is wise to make your preferences known when booking. The wood-panelled rooms and marble bathrooms are crowned with ornate stucco-work . Offering just 33 rooms and 20 suites, this classic hotel is well-priced to give excellent value for money.
