Nordic Light Hotel is designed by Jan Soder and Lars Pihl. Their inspiration was an element strongly associated with Scandinavia – light. Nordic Light Hotel hosts purity, simplicity and transparency of forms and colors, with ever-changing lighting. Nordic Light Hotel was accepted right from the outset as a member of the association of Design Hotels. Among other things the hotel has been praised and won awards for its lighting design, created by light architect Kai Piippo.

Designed for both business and leisure, each room is furnished with simple lines and understated detail. Light patterns are created from lamps or are projected onto walls and beds, making any other decorative features quite superfluous. Rooms all have cable TV, a minibar and a personal safe.

The Light Bar and Lounge continues the light treatment with the addition of background music and ever-changing light art to enhance the cocktails and dinner which are served in this harmonious atmosphere.
