Dubai's newest luxury hotel, Grand Hyatt Dubai, towers majestically by the edge of Dubai's historic creek. The hotel is an outstanding combination of resort facilities, luxury hotel guestrooms and suites, residential apartments and one of the most advanced conference centres in the Middle East, all set within a lush oasis of 37 acres of landscaped gardens.
Grand Hyatt Dubai offers a first for a Dubai hotel - the concept of a city resort which includes first-class recreational facilities such as a Zen-inspired Grand Spa, tennis centre, indoor and outdoor swimming pools and jogging track, yet the hotel is situated close to the city centre and just minutes from Dubai International Airport.
Grand Hyatt Dubai features 674 hotel guestrooms and suites, luxuriously appointed and classically-styled, yet in keeping with the ever-changing needs of the international traveller, each providing ultra-modern digital technology and communications.
Within the hotel, 14 restaurants, bars and cafes offer a selection of Dubai's finest cuisine. Dominating the lobby of the Grand Hyatt is a colossal pineapple chandelier and behind it, four larger-than-life dhow hulls hang from the ceiling, as though you are underwater, over an indoor tropical paradise. Plants and rivers form the centrepiece and around this jungle are situated the hotels shops and restaurants. Apart from the white noise created by the waterfall, this is a very peaceful area.
The hotel is located at a busy intersection of the Sheikh Zayed road (the city’s main highway), and although it has acres of landscaped gardens, outdoor pools and children’s areas, this is not the place to get away from it all. It is, however, ideal for business travellers with the best conference facilities in Dubai. And being located close to the main malls and the airport, it’s a great place for those on a shopping trip.
Elements of Art Deco make the interior interesting. Rooms here are luxurious and spacious with far-reaching views over the city. There is a fantastic indoor pool, on top of the three outdoor pools, and a well equipped gym.
