Cool contemporary business hotel
Just around the corner from all the glitz and glamour of Sloane Street lies the Jumeirah Carlton Tower. Situated in up-market Cadogan Place, this luxury London Hotel offers a convenient base for shopping, business and sightseeing.
If shopping is your pleasure, then the Jumeirah Carlton Tower is just a credit-card’s throw from all the big designer names, including Fendi, Gucci, Tiffany, Dior and Jimmy Choo. On a larger scale, Harrods and Harvey Nichols are just down the road. Whilst the ladies shop, others may prefer to visit the nearby museums, or the Royal Albert Hall. Hyde Park is also close by for morning jogging or leisurely walking.
The Jumeirah Carlton Tower is widely accepted as being a cut above the rest. If you want to experience a five star London hotel, then this is the place to stay. With a choice of 220 rooms and suites, a fitness room with top-of-the-world views, and a choice of fine restaurants, the Jumeirah Carlton has it all. The public lounges and dining rooms have a traditional tone to the comfortable furnishings. However the hotels rooms have a more creative colour scheme. The interesting combination of purple and lime green accents in some rooms may be a little way-out for bleary eyes in the morning. The beds and pillows are predictably comfortable, the furniture has an understated style, and the bathrooms are divine.
Beyond the rooms, the hotel facilities are extensive. Conference rooms, a heated indoor pool under a glass roof, a state-of-the-art gym and a choice of restaurants all live up to their five star reputation. The Spa has spectacular views of the London skyline and includes a golf simulator if the weather is just too chilly for the real thing. With 50 virtual golf courses to choose from, it is never boring. Fitness instructors are always on hand to advise, and there are a host of classes from spinning to yoga.
The Jumeirah Carlton Tower has also collected a number of well-deserved awards including the Conde Nast ‘Best UK Business Hotel’, and the Conde Nast ‘Top Ten UK Day Spas’ award, as well as being voted ‘Banquet Chef of the Year’.
