The facilities
The Avalon hotel’s restaurant, Blue on Blue, has a classic American menu with an emphasis on fresh produce. Blue on Blue also contains the Avalon’s bar, which keeps the cocktails flowing. This luxury hotel also has a 24-hour fitness centre with cardio equipment and free-weights, and an hourglass shaped swimming pool in the courtyard.
The rooms
The luxury hotel’s 84 rooms have custom-designed furnishings and Italian designer linens. The custom designed beds come equipped with down duvets and pillows. Guests of the Avalon can request in-room spa treatments, and laundry and dry-cleaning services are available. Each room also has wireless internet access, a media centre with TV, DVD player and a CD player, along with music and video games. There is also 24-hour room service and each room has a fully-stocked minibar.
