Detailed Review
Luxury hotel Arizona Inn has been run by the Greenway family since 1930, when it played host to Hollywood royalty Bette Davis, Gary Cooper, Katherine Hepburn, Spencer Tracy and John Wayne. This legendary Arizona hotel is great for a relaxing and sophisticated retreat with guaranteed sunshine.
The facilities
This luxury hotel is a beautiful retreat in the centre of town, with its own 14 acres of gorgeous gardens and an outdoor heated pool. During the summer, there’s a daily ice cream social by the pool that’s just made for sugar-fuelled sun-lounging and gossiping. When you’ve bronzed enough, head to the Library for an Arizona Inn complimentary high tea.
Arizona Inn has several different dining options, but its AAA Four Diamond awarded restaurant is one to look forward to. Its menu has international options as well as well-done American classics. The Audubon piano bar serves lunch and dinner on the patio, and the poolside bar is a nice informal space for drinks and snacking.
The rooms
The luxury hotel has 95 individually decorated rooms and suites, all dotted about the garden (which has been landscaped for privacy). Decor is contemporary 30s chic, with comfortable period furniture offset by discreetly-placed cable TVs with DVD players, and access to high speed internet. Suites and deluxe rooms have private patios and wet bars.
Press Quotes
"For an upscale historic experience not far from downtown, try the Arizona Inn, 2200 East Elm Street, which, with its formal dining room and lovely, airy library from the 30's, is like staying with very rich relatives with very good taste." New York Time 05

"Old School Southwest small town bolt-hole"
Peaceful, amicable and family-run, the Arizona is a great slice of Americana; the period furniture is produced on the premises, the gardens are spick-and-span and fragrant, the views of the nearby Catalina mountains are always magnificent.

Peaceful, amicable and family-run, the Arizona is a great slice of Americana; the period furniture is produced on the premises (and has been since the hotels opening back in the 1930s), the gardens are spick-and-span and fragrant, the views of the nearby Catalina mountains are always magnificent. The brunches equally so.
